The Maverick Culinary Collective brings together working chefs and beverage professionals and is led by Founding Chef Daniel Asher.

When you join, you get paid for the work you already do, like testing new products, building drinks, and sharing real feedback from behind the bar. Brands turn to the collective to see how their products perform in working bars and kitchens, and the people who pour, mix, and serve are paid for their time, insights, and skills.

Barista, bartender, mixologist, distiller, brewer, sommelier, beverage director — if you work in liquids, you belong here.

Some people in the collective have a following, and some do not. That is not important.

What matters is your craft and the credibility it brings.

What you'll actually do

Real work. Clear terms. Brands already checked.

Try new products and share your honest thoughts on what brands are launching before anyone else. You get paid for your professional opinion, which most companies usually have to guess at.

We run brand ops for all sorts of work — product testing, live in-bar use, recipe and menu development, and content. We check every brand before they join the Collective. If it's not worth your time, we don't let it in. We take care of the contracts, terms, and all the details. When something lands in your inbox, it's an opportunity that respects your time and expertise.

When there's a good match, we'll contact you. You choose if you want to take part.

This could mean putting a product into live service, building a drink with it, giving a direct testimonial, or making short videos from behind your bar. No scripts. No forced talking points. Just your real experience, in your own words. You create just like you always do. We'll handle the editing and make it look great. You also get content you can use on your own channels.
